Jim Clifford
Jim Clifford (PhD, York University, Environmental History, 2011) is an Associate Professor in Environmental History at the University of Saskatchewan. His research interests lay in the environmental history of Britain and Greater London, digital history and historical GIS, and industrialization in Greater London. He is the author of West Ham and the River Lea: A Social and Environmental History of London’s Industrialized Marshland, 1839–1914 (University of British Columbia, 2017) which focuses on the history of rapid growth in suburban London. His writing has also been featured in journals including Environment and History and Historical Methods.
