Aaron Shkuda manages the Princeton Initiative in Architecture, Urbanism, and the Humanities at Princeton University, where he teaches urban studies. He is the author of The Lofts of Soho: Gentrification, Art, and Industry in New York, 1950–1980, also published by the University of Chicago Press.
